Awakening Through Hypnosis

The hypnotic state expands consciousness to the point of dreaming... Erickson said, "Every human being has the natural ability to enter trance either through dreams or sustained concentration."
We all naturally experience "ordinary trances" in a hypnotic state. For example, when, on the road, we pass by the route we had planned.
The conscious mind then falls asleep, and the unconscious mind awakens. In hypnosis, the five senses fuse together: "You speak of a dream beach in the Maldives or New Caledonia," and you live it, walking on the warm sand. During a hypnosis session, it is essential to define a goal: stress, insomnia, chronic pain, addictions, weight management, fears, phobias, anxiety, tinnitus, burnout, eczema, psoriasis, self-confidence for conferences, exams, or the pursuit of business or athletic goals. For Erickson, change, whether in therapy or life experiences, resides within the individual, and motivation is the key to success.
Close to Jung, he believed that the growth of the personality comes from the unconscious to the conscious.
